This year's Spring Conference offers more than 40 continuing education credits across five educational tracks, and includes other exciting events and networking opportunities as well. This year's Spring Conference also two worthwhile sessions, which will be available during the pre-conference. While it may be hard to believe, WHCA/WiCAL's Spring Conference is less than a month away! Have you registered for Spring Conference yet? Now you have one more reason to register today... The WHCA/WiCAL 51st Annual Spring Conference educational offerings have been reviewed by the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) of the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) and approved for 33.50 clock hours and 11.50 participant hours.

You can register for the annual event, which is being held April 10-12, 2013 at the Kalahari Resort Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells, at www.whcawical.org. Vendor booths for the trade show are still available, but they are filling up fast, so if you are a vendor and would like to have a booth at this year's Spring Conference, please secure your booth at your earliest possible convenience.

AHCA/NCAL Public Affairs Chief Greg Crist to be Keynote Speaker at Spring Conference

in Convention

Communications and public affairs expert Greg Crist will deliver the keynote address of WHCA/WiCAL 51st Annual Spring Conference being held April 10-12 at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. Crist leads the American Health Care Association Public Affairs team with over 18 years of professional media experience. In his first year with the Association, the team received a coveted Silver Anvil award for excellence in public affairs, the second Silver Anvil awarded to Greg in his career. Prior to joining the Association, Greg headed the public affairs division for Dutko Worldwide – a DC-based consulting firm. He has over seven years’ experience working on Capitol Hill, including serving as Press Secretary for the House Majority Leader Richard Armey (R-TX), Ways and Means Committee and as Assistant Press Secretary for Virginia Governor George Allen. Greg received his bachelor’s degree in Government and Economics from the College of William and Mary, and he was awarded a Sorenson Institute Fellowship from the University of Virginia.

The National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) has extended the Early Bird Registration period for the NCAL Spring Conference to Tuesday, January 22. The conference, "The Customer Experience in Assisted Living," will be held March 12-13, 2013 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL at the Westin Beach Resort and Spa. Members registering prior to January 22 will save $125 off the on-site registration rate. Register today for this must attend event, with the potential to earn up to 10.75 CEUs!
